...but I'm going to the Democratic National Committee Convention in Denver as part of the Indiana delegation anyway. I'll be a member of the Rules Committee representing LGBT Hoosiers with pride.
I was running for At-Large Delegate, so getting on the Rules Committee is rather a surprise. I'm not too sure about the details yet, so here's what the DNCC website says about the committee:
Using the Call for the 2008 Democratic National Convention as a framework, the Rules Committee recommends the procedural rules of the Convention, the agenda, the officers of the Convention and other matters not covered by the other committees. Its recommendations are presented in a report voted on during the first session of the Convention.
So I guess that whole thing about not getting media credentials wasn't so bad after all...

And you will have time to relay Bil info for blogging (or can he come as your spouse?)
Great News Jeramie!

I'm so proud of Jerame! He really worked his connections to be part of the Hoosier delegation. I applied too, but didn't make the cut. But if Marti would ever post, she could tell you her big news!
I'll still be going to the Convention. Someone will get me a floor pass and there's plenty to do elsewhere as well. :)
