If for no other reason that to see the diverse groups all gathering to celebrate marriage equality, please watch this video. Ms. Sen makes a strong point and I agree. Michelle Obama stood up and called for state solutions to equality for gay and lesbian couples the other night at the Gay and Lesbian Leadership Council, highlighting again the strength we can achieve when we work together.
Communities of Color are not the bastions of homophobia. It is a myth perpetuated by those in power to stay in power.
