One year ago today we re-launched bilerico.com as The Bilerico Project. It was our beta version; Jerame was still working out all the tweaks. It was stressful to watch him sweat bullets as he ran the blog for a week - working out all the doo dads and whatchamacallits. Alex and I almost had strokes a couple times.
On July 9th we officially opened our doors as the Project with our full roster of contributors. Thankfully, you liked what we had to offer and our growth rate has been phenomonal. We're proud of what we've accomplished and the friends we've made because of the site.
Since our birthday is next Wednesday, we're going to celebrate the all week long. We'll have contests with very cool prizes, special shout outs and content and all of the usual suspects adding their two cents. We hope you'll join us on the big day and participate in the fun.
If you'd like to make your own video shout out, just post it to YouTube and send us the link. We'll put it on the blog. If you'd like to post on your own blogs or make us a special graphic, feel free. If you'd like to guest post send them in. (Of course, posts that stick with the celebration theme would be appreciated!) Help us celebrate our birthday. We'd like to spend it with you.
