I think what is worse is that during the last Republican convention a brave woman tried to hold up a sign while Bush was speaking condemning the war and was immediately whisked away as a security threat before the camera could pan to what was on the sign. Rights of expression do not exist to these people and they prove it over and again.
I believe this calls for two sided signs! You go in with one and you fold out the other! Let them pull you off while the candidate is speaking.

McCain has so much respect for the current president, that he considers being compared to him a terrorist-level insult. As digby asked, what if that sign said "McCain = Reagan"?

Wouldn't a librarian uprising be great? Imagine if all librarians stopped working for one day to protest McCain's free speech debacle? It'd be awesome.
