Former vice president Al Gore tells the crowd at the Democratic National Convention, "I believe in recycling," but McCain recycling Bush policy "is ridiculous."

Again, thanks to Izzy at 360i at MSNBC for the video footage.

The crowd went absolutely wild for Al Gore. Literally, where I was sitting the only person who got more applause and screaming was Barack himself.

Al Gore is a national treasure. Look at others who ran for the Presidency and didn't get sworn in - how many have bounced back, vibrant, relevant & making such incredible contributions & achievments? Zero.
