It's time for another installment of From The Inbox! This time Projectors can help provide an answer to a question we got yesterday afternoon.
From: the zak
Message: Who were/are the most well known criminals, murderers who were/are gay/queer/MSM ?...
I have no idea, Zak, but I'm sure some of our readers will know. I know there was a gay serial killer from Indianapolis, but I don't remember his name.
Use the comments section to fill Zak in, Projectors.

It's rumored that Leopold and Loeb were lovers, they were famous/infamous.
There was also Bob Berdella, the gay serial killer in Kansas City in the 80's
I think there was some speculation that Jeffrey Dahmer was gay.
John Wayne Gacy was gay. And he killed like 30 young guys and buried them in his basement. How odd- I just watched a movie on that last night and then this question pops up...
Richard Speck killed eight student nurses
Recently there was Andrew Cunanan

As well as Aileen Wuornos

I'm surprised no one's mentioned jeffrey dahmer....
I am suprised no one has mentioned Indianapolis' own Herb Baumeister.

Thanks Chuck! That's the guy I was trying to remember.
I actually met Jeffrey Dahmer - he was at the Triangle Nightclub in Milwaukee in 1990, and sat with us during a show. He was nice, funny, kinda cute. I just about prolapsed my uterus when I saw him in the news the next year!
I think it should be noted that many, many GLBTQ villains have been portrayed in film and television. I hope we can someday get away from this unfortunate stereotype so we don't repeat such horrible movies like "Cruising."
