Showing the campaign's dedication to winning Florida, the Obama Campaign is continuing its blitz on the state by opening the doors to ten new "Florida Campaign for Change" offices next week.
The campaign is continuing to draw in huge numbers of volunteers who are focusing on face-to-face contact with voters, as well as reaching out to established Democratic clubs and groups, including LGBT groups, around the state. The campaign is also hitting university campuses around the state to register new young voters.
The Obama campaign is also moving into areas of the state that are historically conservative- like central, west, and north Florida- which is a new strategy for Democrats. Past campaigns focused more on the progressive strongholds of South Florida to turn out votes.
Polls are showing a tight race between Obama and McCain in the Sunshine State. The Obama Campaign is far outspending the McCain camp in advertising and pouring huge amounts of resources into the state to make sure the battleground state's 27 electoral votes go to Obama.
