Wow - what a day yesterday! As a blogger, I have to say it was one of my best. Our best. The best, in fact.
Most of you know that I also blog at the Huffington Post. I crossposted my prediction that Evan Bayh will be Obama's VP choice over there and it was promoted to the front page. From there it got picked up by just about every major political blog in the country - Technorati shows it was picked up by 36 other sites they monitor, but I saw it popping up in other places too. My favorite? Comedy Central's InDecision2008 blog where they made a joke of how my name is spelled.
I also got a call from a few media outlets including the Fox Business Network. I'll be doing my first national talking head gig on Money for Breakfast tomorrow morning at 7am EST. I'll be talking about my Bayh prediction and the state of Indiana's economy. Be sure to tune in and tell me how I do. I'm nervous!
The downside is that the site was taken down for about 40 minutes today from all the traffic! We're back up and running again, but - boy - be careful what you wish for, eh? Still, it's been pretty darn cool. I can live with it; we've been working on replacing the server anyhow, so this is a kick in the butt to get it done.

I for one am incredibly glad you were wrong. (Which, BTW, you should admit.) I would prefer Kaine, Biden, Sebelius - anyone but Clinton in fact - to Bayh. The guy is bland beyond belief.

No need to be snarky, Organizer. The zest your comments infer are key to the environment of polarization. I am sure you have received bad information in your life at one time or another as well.

Well as of 6:00 eastern no big news on this story even NPR said they had spent the day together campaigning but so big announcement that he was the one. Now was this all a ruse or was it also a get to know the guy event? If it was that look for more Senator Obama is with so and so today events.
