When did an oil pipeline, the war in Iraq and a sports complex become ordained by God? When Sarah Palin is preaching the gospel of the Almighty Dollar.
My dad is a Pentecostal. We've not spoken much since he converted - and he was the first parent to accept me as gay. Now? Not so much. He's too busy speaking in tongues and rolling around on the floor to be able to sit in the same room and talk with me. Maybe if I had an oil deposit in my backyard, I'd be godly enough for him to associate with me again.
