Sometimes it's absolutely amazing how often Hollywood and Washington mix and mingle. Clinton's Balkan excursions were often compared to Wag the Dog, for example, while Deputy Director of the US Office of Personnel Management, Howard Weizmann, recently opposed federal domestic partner benefits citing I Now Pronounce you Chuck and Larry in his reasoning.

So when the Times Online quotes McCain campaign insiders about the likelihood of a wedding for Sarah Palin's daughter and her baby's daddy before the election, the back of my brain tickles and I think, "Haven't I seen this before?"
