Though I am a working supporter of Obama/Biden, a few things disturbs me greatly: the lack of emphasis on and consideration for the poor in this nation and around the world, an almost complete lack of tangible support for those in danger from political situations like Darfur and Burma, and the lack of a world perspective in either tickets.
There are obligatory references made on these issues, but, almost exclusively, the consideration is for the middle class in the USA. I hope that Democrats haven't wavered from their "Great Society" support and will turn to support efforts like those championed by Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton.
