Florida's Amendment 2- Major Impact on Health Benefits

"It's [Amendment 2] going to have a major impact on our ability to provide benefits for domestic partners, and we're opposed to anything that gets in the way of providing benefits."

-- Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida, the state's largest health insurer, coming out harshly against Florida's Amendment 2- the dangerous and deceptive "Marriage Protection" Amendment.

Not surprising Blue Cross is opposing the amendment. Its profits depend on enrolling huge numbers of couples, not cherrypicking just the straight and/or married couples.
