In a Ripley's believe it or not moment, GOPerv Mark Foley has thrown the towel in on John McCain. As Howie Klein put it, "Oh, No! Now Even The Really Bad Republicans Are Endorsing Obama."
Forget for a moment that "really bad" and "Republicans" are kind of oxymoronic. I mean point out a post-Jacob Javits Republican who isn't "really bad." (Keep in mind that John Lindsey and Lincoln Chafee both abandoned the party of hatred and greed and that Olympia Snowe may wind up doing the same thing in January.) So... not one! And a whole slew have been jumping off the McCranky-Palin sinking ship as it lists this way and that, erratically, from one disaster to another.

Apparently, Foley called into Rush Limbaugh's show to set the record - ahem - straight(?). He says he has already voted, and indicated it was not for Senator Obama.
Foley also released this statement:
"An online article posted today on Variety’s website innaccurately reported that I was supporting Barack Obama. The story on Variety’s website, based on a second or third-hand account of my private conversation, is incorrect. I have already voted by absentee ballot in Florida. Although I didn’t vote for Senator Obama, I intend to keep my choice private."

Thank goodness that Foley is now saying that he didn't vote for Obama. That would so not be change I could believe.

Can we assume then that he chose Cynthia McKinney and the Green Party?

I wish he voted for Obama. There's something about that guy that makes me want to believe in him.
Now if you'll all excuse me, I have to go take some measurements and IM them to a former US rep.
