Okay - so I need more help with blog decisions. After all, ya'll read us; you might as well tell me what you want, eh?
Next week we have 2 copies of Britney Spears new album, Circus, to give away. I'll also have 15 copies of her new single, "Womanizer." That's quite a few. You'll be able to pick up the prizes before the album hits stores.
I try to use the contests to build our daily digest mailing list, Twitter followers, Facebook group members, etc., so keep that in mind. Our goal with the contests is two-fold: give a reward to readers and drive traffic.
So, what kind of contest(s) should we have for Britney?

how about a bilerico trivia or treasure hunt contest; where you'd have to dig a bit in the archives to find the answers - but have the submissions on a separate page like a survey, rather than posted in comments. that way the 2nd, 3rd etc people don't get all the answers right away :)
or is that too much work (for the readers) to drive readership?
another thought - since you've got two albums to give away, do one for people who are already signed up on the site, and one to people who sign up that week. same for the singles. that way the swag isn't always going to the same group.

I say do a "recreate your favorite Britney video" contest and post the winner. I'm not sure how it would help drive readership, but it would make me very happy. I could finally use that red patent leather bodysuit I have for my "oops, I did it again" remake...

I'm going to go out on a limb and speak for everybody else and say that if you will post a video like that the rest of us will get together to send you a prize.
