Very funny, I agree. And poignant...because in the real history of written documents, when bound books came along in the early centuries of the present era, there WERE probably monks who reacted the same way, because they were used to the old papyrus scrolls.
Technology always makes a big demand that people let go of their old habits.
Of course, I admit that I have never used my phone to text, and have no intention of texting...ever.
