How can I make sure that 2009 is a better year for me than 2008 was?
~ Johnny B. Happy
Dear Johnny B Happy,
On the eve of yet another New Year, you have the choice to view this year with hope and optimism, dread and pessimism, or complete indifference. Where do you fall on this continuum? To improve 2009, I recommend you start the year off with a dose of optimism and hope. If you believe in the law of attraction (which is at the heart of the wildly successful book, The Secret, that was a big hit this year), what you think is what you get. If you start by thinking and actually believing that this is going to be a fantastic year, then you are leaps ahead of the rest of the world!
You must take action, too. When it comes to the nuts and bolts of creating a better year, I suggest you download and complete this complementary worksheet that I've created for my clients called, "My Next Best Year" (link to pdf). Get intentional about what you would like your life to look like and feel like. This worksheet will help you do that!
I'm ready for a fantastic 2009. How about you?
