Nice!!
I'll have to admit that in my youth I was an ignorant person about the reality of transgendered people. some one described them as a horrible slur"he she" and i saw them as people on the streets of san Francisco who were in the sex trade near by where I lived on Sutter Street a block away from Larkin Street where the kids where in the sex trade. I digress. I had no idea reallt I saw them as haunted folks trying to fit in the best way they could.
It wasn't really until the late 90's when I began to see what was being said was true a person's psyche was one sex and having to live in the body which didn't outwardly agree with that. That fact makes for tremendous pressure, mental anguish, etc. and still today it happens.
People do not want to see that a transgender person is and it is ignorance even with the information available to us. there are many who do not survive the transition, some who are lucky enough to be able to afford to transition and some who feel they are ok with some transition. I think Kenneth Cole is great for having Nina Poon on board and Tyra Banks for having given her model a chance at a new life most recently but those are the lucky few. Yes being reminded of the folks who are victimized, brutalized shows the consciousness is still in the low area/non enlightened.

While I'm not entirely sure about leveraging a viewer's feelings about human trafficking and violence against women with trans issues (because it also seems to negate the possibility that trans women will also be made victims of violence) I thought it was a great little vignette. plus she looks fab!
