Duh.

obama_cover.jpgI mean, who else were they going to name Person of the Year? Sarah Palin?

She was runner-up. Seriously.

Don't get me wrong. I'm all in favor of the nod to Obama; it's great. Super. Fantastic. He deserves it.

But it's damned boring. *yawns*

Since I'm never short on opinion, I'll let you in on my pick for Person of the Year. Tina Fey. Her impression of Sarah Palin was spot-on flawless, she made her opposition to the ticket well-known, and she definitely defined Palin before the Republicans could. I hesitate to say she decided the election, but she probably did more than any of us to turn voters off to the McCain/Palin ticket.

Who would you pick other than Obama?

During the primaries Jeremiah Wright.

During the election William Ayers.

I think the two of them had more air time than McCain.

There's no need to get condescending, Bil, just because You were Time's person of the year in 2006. :)

It's funny, because they gave it to every president or president-elect except bush senior. so winning the presidency apparently entitles people to the cover of time.

I'd have to agree with you Bil on Tina Fey. I've always been a fan but she seemed to "define Palin before Palin could define herself" as Time Magazine said. She's a huge comedic and writing talent of the like we haven't seen in a long time. She'd get my vote, you betcha!

oh and goodie.. 30 Rock is on tonight!
