GetToKnowUsFirst.org ran these ads during the Inauguration, and were even rejected by one local affiliate as inappropriate.

While I am against gay marriage detracting from so many other important needs of the TBLG community, this was a good ad.

The Latino/a visibility is excellent, and it made this tortillera proud.

Not bad for a gay centric ad that makes trans women (and trans men) completely invisible.

Not bad for an obviously classist video.

It faithfully replicates most of the problems the TBLG community has in dealing fairly with its own.

But, not a bad start. My question is, when are they going to show transfolk as equals?

Or is asking that from the queer assimilationists still too much?
