If only I had known Fr Tony. all that time I wasted with the Trappists could have been put to much better use. :)

I'm going to put in a plug for my own blog, A.E.Brain.
I'm now running third, and gaining fast on 2nd place. I'm out-polling them in new votes 5:1.
Both front-runners are well-financed professional blogs owned by Rupert Murdoch's News Corp through subsidiaries.
And.. the leader (who IMHO really is the best blog in Australia/New Zealand) has endorsed my blog, as they've won it so many times in the past. As the result, I'm even out-polling him in new votes.
Assuming I get over the line, I believe this would be the first time a GLBT blog has won a mainstream competition, outside the GLBT area. And one of the few that deal with Feminist issues.
Less than 5000 votes have been cast, split between all 10 finalists. So YOUR vote could genuinely make a difference to the final result.
Although it's a case of "small-to-medium sized fish in a very small pond", should I win there will be some very valuable publicity for GLBT, and in particular, Trans- and Intersexed Human Rights. I'm getting support mostly from the political Right here, who I have been solidly working on for several years to get them to see us as people who are genuinely denied fairness, against their own Right-wing principles.
Please visit my blog, have a look, and vote as you see fit. Thanks.
