Remember that pair of male penguins
who tried to become daddies by stealing other penguins' eggs? And remember how the Chinese zoo in which they live ultimately let them adopt two of them?
Well, since the incredibly gay duo have earned the reputation of being terrific parents, Polarland Zoo in Harbin, China, decided to throw a wedding for the pair.
You've got to admire the Chinese for what is either their shameless embrace of absurdity or their ability to invent the craziest publicity stunts.
One wore a tie and the other was dressed in a red blouse - a traditional Chinese bridal color - as they stepped into their icy wedding room to the music of "The Wedding March."
Keepers then served them their favorite dish for the occasion - spring fish.
As some of you may know, the Chinese sure know how to throw a wedding banquet, so the reception must have been rocking.
(For those of you who are inclined to politicize everything, yes, you may point out the irony here - both same-sex marriage and civil unions for humans are not allowed in China.)

You know that woman in the picture didn't put any thought into her gift and gave them an envelope full of yuan.

You mean its legal for gay penguins to get married now, and not for humans?
Next life... I'm coming back as a penguin.
It looks like they have better health care than me too... urgh.
