Oh, Hannity. The buckets of crazy keep falling out of his mouth (along with the obvious buckets of bigotry). It's bad enough that my ears are still bleeding from Rush "Where's my oxycontin" Limbaugh at the CPAC conference yesterday. Doesn't it seem like the fundies are all losing there little minds even more now that they are in the wilderness, despite GOP Chairman Michael Steele's "off the hook" make-over of the party? Which leads me to this...
Hannity let this winner rip on his show this week regarding the recognition Milk got at the Oscars:
They keep showing the scenes of men kissing. And I'm thinking do we have to expose our children to more and more sex, more and more violence, you know, more and more controversy?...Listen, I'm just more sensitive. If it's going to be a family event, you know, and you want to -- you can't watch a lot of programs now because of the adult content. We're robbing these kids...of their childhood. We're over-sexualizing them at younger and younger ages.
Hmmmm, so men kissing is "sex, violence, and controversy"? Since when did kissing (which has always been a symbol of romance and love in Hollywood movies) get so dirty? Oh! Because men are doing it! Brilliant!
Well GLAAD came up with a catchy little video pointing out Hannity's current craziness. Watch it after the jump....

This one is easy to explain: he's just jealous.
Kissing Sean Hannity would cause "violence and controversy" in my stomach. Ugh!
Absolutely, Waymon! And that's exactly why he's not getting any.
(Besides, closeted Republicans tend to cruise the johns --- one might find a good kisser in a public men's room about once every century.)
Sounds more like he interested in watching the scenes of men kissing men, over and over, again and again. I think your right AJ, he's jealous!
You boys are always involved in sex and controversy; if Hannity has fantasies about the violence, well, I don't want to hear about it.
Yeah, I think he just wanted to see more gay men kissing than actually happened... That says something. :)
Just wait until Sean catches a Tony Award broadcast!!!!
Considering the video games and other junk parents buy their kids I do not thing that they are afraid of violence at all. You can kill another guy, but don't kiss one.
Sean oh Sean-ie boy me thinks that thou doth protesteth to greatly what closet are you screaming out of these days huuuummmmm? Oh yea I forgot blame it on corrupting the children. GO FIGURE
Actually, of all the right-wing talking heads, Sean's prolly the cutest. I still wouldn't want to see him kissing anything, but....
Yuck, Alex.
Yuck.
Not to excuse the obvious homophobia, but who ever said the Oscars were a "family event?" They're meant to honor the best in cinema, which frequently includes "adult" themes. It's not the Kid's Choice Awards...and hasn't been since the demise of the Hays Code. I mean, jeebus, Sean, Last Tango in Paris picked up two noms in 1973. Catch up.
Sometimes the grown ups get to have their own shows, Sean, and if it's gonna scar your little brain, Mommy and Daddy should turn off the television for you.
dear sir i come across your show every once in while and maybe im getting it wrong if i am forgive me.it sounds sometime like you want the new president to fail. if he does though wont that put us even further behind the eight ball considering we just went through eight years with bush. i think that americas a great country and what made us this was our love for God and each other in my opinion. i know that the wealthy arent feeling the so called depression and neither are those who are blessed enough to do the right thing with what they have, nor are those who have their jobs still and havent bit off more than they can chew with this housing thing.i think that if they stopped being greedy and willing pitched in more we could all see our way through this crisis. its not like millionaires, billionaires, or greater could spend all the money they have in multiple lifetimes dont you think. i think the president is headed in the right direction with caps on income for ceos, universal healthcare im a little sketchy on because of the illegal thing and as far the other stuff. i think we needed stiffer laws on crime that swindle money out of others because this identity theft thing has gone on long enough. Every one wants what america has and we need to protect ourselves in housing, welfare, education, immigration and others i think that is where our greatest lose of revenue comes from. Crime in general is another.
