I saw this yesterday and although the universe has not been gentle with me recently, I honestly felt a tiny piece of my heart heal. It did my soul some good.

This is, what? the fifth or sixth time I've seen this publicized and I've watched it almost as many times.

Susan Boyle taught us such an old, old lesson and that is, not judging the book... What a fantastic voice.

But why did she have to "go back to the village with her head held high"? We should all be seeing more of her. Letterman should have her on the show and belt out a tune. I'd record it, so I could see it.

Damn you, Browning. I really did have to reach for the Kleenex. Awesome!

This is the third time Britain's Got Talent has given me chills, and made me cry.

First, the humble cell phone salesman and his rendition of "Nessun Dorma".

Then there was young Andrew Johnson who is bullied in school because 'nobody sings like this'. His chrystaline angel's voice singing "Pie Jesu Requiem" brought on the tears...

And now...
The inimitable and ever so beautiful, Susan Boyle.

Music hath charms...

My wife is in tears. I am astonished. Today, I have learned not to judge because now I know that a flower awaits within. I would kiss her. She is a beautiful woman.

I try not to be judgemental but catch myself a lot. Had to list to it 2X once with my eyes open and once with my eyes closed. Wouldn't be nice if we could all look at everyone's possible potential first off?

Thanks, Bil, for lifting me past the suicide of the 11-year-old boy in Springfield MA. My week was crappy, until Susan Boyle made me see anew that the written-off, the ignored, the scorned can wear the crown. I'm twitterpatting (which has nothing to do w/ Twitter, but everything to do with a feeling of well-being and rightness with the world).

Wow...wow....what more can be said.....I can type no more, for the tears in my eyes are beautifully rendering me incapable to do so. Beautiful, stunning, extraordinary........

This is so uplifting of spirit and such a wonderful contribution to art and music. I hope that I willo see much more of Susan Boyle in the future and I wish her the very best.
As for the audience, I think that they should have had Susan perform on April 1st; it would have been the ultimate April Fools on every one of them.

“Amazing”—“ awesome”—“ charming”—“stunning”---mere words seem grossly inadequate. “Uplifting of spirit” does come close (thank you Angela). I can’t help but believe that in witnessing Susan Boyle’s validation that we each in some way share in this huge pivotal moment in her life. As this unemployed 47-year-old woman stepped out of her small English village, hundreds cheered her voice, thousands stood to applaud its clarity and beauty. 15 million online join to witness the event that says Susan Boyle’s life will never be the same.
