I live in Dallas and am a member of the Stonewall Democrats of Dallas. We worked very hard to get Sheriff Valdez elected the first and SECOND time. She won her re-election in 2008 with 55% of the vote.
Dallas has a very strong LGBT community and the city itself is very results oriented. Git 'er done in other words.
Very proud of our Sheriff in these parts.
