So, Miss California, Carrie Prejean got canned finally. Another washed up beauty queen on the heap is not news, but everyone wants to talk about it. Schadenfreude, I suppose.

I know there are folks out there fired up about her, but I just don't get it. She wouldn't have been more than a blip on the radar if it hadn't been Perez Hilton who asked her the question about same-sex marriage.

She's fired. There are nasty emails. They make her look as nutty as we all figured. Nothing to see here - her 15 minutes ended weeks ago. Next story...

LMAO- Jerame, this is the perfect post about this news. Love it!

That still does not prevent me from indulging in my happy dance.

Nothing wrong with a little celebration. ;)

I ♥ Lalita Amos' post about this. It's all written in 9th grade valley girl speak and it tells the entire drama.

someone slam the door on Donald Trump as well. He is no ally.

Carrie Prejean is Rosemary's Baby.

To show you how up on this I am, I didn't even know who the hell you were talking about at first.

Beauty contests are a left over that only serves to further objectify women and keep them in their place so the patriarchy keeps their control over our minds and bodies.

Just gives her more time to speak in front of the religious wackjobs who give a darn what she has to say. Since when was being fired by the Donald, bad for one's career?

it's all been much ado about nothing from the start. celebrities and celebrity-baiters are all cut from one cloth.
