It seems apropos that today, in a week filled with LGBT news, is the one-year anniversary of California starting to give marriage licenses to same-sex couples. On that day, Bilerico hosted a photo album put together by professional photographers and journalists of the day's ceremonies. If you want marriage and are fretting over the DOJ's DOMA brief, do yourself a favor and remind yourself what victory looks like. (And the photos are now what they were then: free for everyone to use.)

Sasha Cohen's Bruno movie will do millions of dollars of bad stereotyping against gays everywhere, and adversely influence voters in places like California. Sorry Sasha, it's not funny if it may influence some people to bash gays, and influence others to take away our civil rights, like marriage.

That's what he's all about though - it's getting a bit tiresome, what will he think of next to make more millions... He will need serious protection if he continues, he sure does enjoy the dangerous life.
