A big fat happy birthday to contributor (and editor) Dana Rudolph!![]()
Since you never ask a lady her age, I thought I'd express Dana's age as an algebra problem.
29 + X =
Solve for X if you really want to know.
Or then again, you could just leave her a nice birthday wishes comment! (Which is probably the safest bet all around.)
Happy Birthday Dana! May each year keep getting better!

Happy Birthday, Dana! I'm so glad that we've been able to work together these past few months.

Thanks for all the good wishes, all!
And to John's point: Yes, I'm 42. I therefore expect that I will soon know the answer to life, the universe and everything. Either that, or be abducted by Vogons. Stay tuned.
I guess I've never been afraid to admit my real age because as a short woman who buys most of my everyday clothes in the Old Navy boy's department, I tend to get mistaken for teenager in any case.
(And yes, that's really me in the picture.)

Hey Dana, good for you about coming out with your age. There is so much ageism in the "community," and pressure to lie about your age. In your case, it has been 42 powerful years, and I hope you live powerfully for many more.

I don't do algebra, but I think Bil's formula means you are still Gen X? Happy Day!
