I was so proud of our city for hosting the Pride of Greater Ft. Lauderdale Kickoff event in our beautiful Jaco Pastorius Park in Downtown Oakland Park. Thanks to everyone who made this event possible! I am so proud to be a commissioner in a city that celebrates our community!

The movie featured at the "Cinema Under the Stars" event was "Before Stonewall", an amazing historical documentary about the early LGBT rights movement. It was a great turnout and a wonderful event!
