Playwright Tony Kushner of Angels in America fame gave an interview to CNN recently that focused on Minneapolis's three month long "Kushner Celebration." While most of the piece is on his plays and the upcoming festival (which includes his new play, "The Intelligent Homosexual's Guide to Capitalism and Socialism with a Key to the Scriptures," one of the best parts comes when Kushner gets political.

One of my college professors, James Fisher, is the nation's leading expert on Tony Kushner. I'm happy to see the playwright rise to political prominence -- his works are _amazing_.
