"Two Hot Transsexuals Finally Give You Some ANSWERS!"

Red and Charles, two trans artists/activists/media makers/hotties (hey, they said it -- I'm just agreeing!) answer a series of the obnoxious but unfortunately usual questions that trans folks often get from clueless non-trans people. I love how smart, funny, sarcastic, and downright fierce this is. My favorite line:
"I figured that physically transitioning was the next best thing to being a beautiful majestic octopus swimming the Seventh Seas... Inking the things that attacked me!"

When transsexuals are asked stupid questions, it's usually when they lack a serious persona.
Stop talking about yourself, and you will not be asked stupid questions about yourself.

Yeah, don't talk about yourself--ever. Just let the straights, gays, bis, and lesbians ramble on and on about the boring details of our girlfriends, boyfriends, spouses, children, dating, home buying, vacations together, blah, blah, blah. Shut the fuck up, smile, and disappear into the woodwork. Never bother anyone about your trans-ness. Don't you know what a burden hearing about that is to people who can't take it? Really. So inconsiderate. That someone like you could even think to mention something personal around the water cooler like everyone else is just obscene. How could you? Please. Do us all a favor. You pretend you don't exist around us and we'll pretend you don't exist. Unless curiosity about your body parts overwhelms us and we just have to know. Then you can talk. Please don't gross us out. Many of us are more sensitive than we look--or act like.

Didn't tell anyone to shut up. You can talk about anything you like. The questions won't be stupid if you're speaking intelligently. If you speak with the self centered indulgence of many transwomen, stupid questions will follow.
And you can complain if you like, which brings more dumb questions.
