Editor's Note: There will be a candlelight vigil for the trans victims tomorrow night (Friday) at 6:30pm 209 Q ST NW. Wash, DC.

Here's an update my post yesterday about the stabbings of two transgender women in DC. One woman is dead and the other is in the hospital in stable condition. The woman killed was 21 years old and lived in Clinton, MD.

The attack occurred a couple of blocks from Transgender Health Empowerment which provides drop-in services to transgender people, including transgender youth.

Police are reportedly going door-to-door to find the killer.

The police are investigating to determine if the attack was a result of anti-trans or anti-gay hatred.
