Exorcised teen says he's straight but still attracted to men

Tyra Banks investigates that 16-year-old gay kid who was exorcised a few months ago. It's fascinating - it seems like he's caught up in a standard-issue cult with some Christian flavoring. As a bonus, the exorcist (aka "the Prophet") says she has gay friends, used to be a lesbian, and says the kid will go to hell if he doesn't get rid of those gay thoughts. It's definitely worth watching.

Ummm.... thanks, Tyra??!!...for giving religion-based homophobia and ritual child abuse a public venue. The injury done to children like this should be prosecuted as criminal conduct, not coddled with an appearance on national TV.

I disagree - I think Tyra was pretty obvious about what side she was on, and she asked the pertinent question: can you stop homosexual desire?
The exorcist was priceless when she admitted she used to be a lesbian, and they're both crazy enough to have zero credibility while the lesbian activist was spot-on.
If they're going to do it, this is how to do it. It raises awareness about the struggles LGBT people face, which is always good.

Interesting the way he distinguishes between "boys" and "females." The language we use to describe the world around us, often unconsciously, says volumes, don't it?

That poor kid. That poor, poor kid.

Anyone foolish enough to participate in such an undertaken is certainly free to do so as long as they are honest about the outcome...IT DOESN'T WORK!
