If you're not watching CurrentTV, you're missing out!
The brilliant and irreverent satirist Brian Safi, from my favorite nerdy show on my favorite nerdy channel - InfoMania, is back exploring more LGBT issues and stereotypes as they are portrayed by the clueless media.
This week he goes after the gay best friend/savior meme in television:
It's a well-known fact that when you need help fast, a gay guy magically appears to make everything better. Bryan Safi explains this supernatural phenomenon in this week's That's Gay.
Don't forget- Safi is a fun tweeter to follow and InfoMania is also on Twitter!

Hahaha. You know me: if a straight person loses a kid, I run to the blender to make margaritas!

As a shameless stereotype myself, my only response to that can be:
You
Go
Gurl!

See... I spelled it with a 'u.' Because that's gayer.

Brian Safi is hilarious, and this bit was terrific. The whole show is a laugh riot - satire at its best. Thank you Waymon for being the one who put me onto the show!
