Are Mainers really this resentful towards Massachusetts?

I know the strategy is technically "kids, kids, kids" for the Yes campaign in Maine, since Maine isn't that religious so talking about churches being shut down would probably just send people out to vote no. But do people in Maine really not like Massachusetts so much that just saying that what happened in Sodom aka Boston would happen up there is enough to defeat the measure?
