Recently, the boys of raannt were able to, well, get deep with porn star Josh Griffin and find out what's going on, behind the scenes, so to speak...

Josh Griffin

1. Are you gay or straight? LOL, nope I am gay and have a great boyfriend in my life. I have known since I was 7 years old, but tried to convince myself otherwise, but no dice!

Have you had to work with women and how was that experience? Well, like I said, I spent a majority of my life having girlfriends and dating girls, but deep down I always knew that I am gay. I'm pretty sure I could work with women and make a great bi-genre movie... I'd prefer to work with guys though.

2. What brought you to the porn industry? What? More like who... with the combined forces of Former Randy Blue and Channel 1 Releasing Exclusive Blake Riley and Directrix Chi Chi LaRue, that is where and how Josh Griffin came to be... It was my decision completely, but with the help of Blake and Chi Chi, here I am today and I couldn't be happier!

3. What are you planning to be for Halloween this year? Well, I'm a former Police Officer, so I will be sporting all my old gear this year... It will only be fitting to have my boyfriend, Dawson Riley, to be a Fireman... He has all his gear from being a member of LA Search & Rescue... so it will be the Cop & Fireman out and about this year!

4. Other than movies, what other line of work would you like to be doing? Currently, I am still a gogo dancer at two night clubs in LA/West Hollywood, and I also Mc/Host at 2 other clubs and am a promoter for yet another... So I stay busy outside 'Industry' work.

5. How did you come up with your stage name? Well, Josh is my real first name and I was a gogo dancer before I started in the movies, so everyone already knew my first name... as for Griffin, I went to the Channel 1 Studios for a meeting with Chi Chi and Doug Jeffries and Griffin was on my list of names, being the name of one of my best friends that I played soccer with growing up. Anyhow, Chi Chi and I started talking 'Family Guy' and quoting lines from Stewie Griffin... and well Josh Griffin was born!

6. On average, what's your typical day like? Dawson and I wake up around 10, in the gym by 11 or 11:30... when we get back I spend the afternoon emailing, booking gigs, working on the nights I promote and host and then he and I go to work.

7. What's your favorite kind of music and what's your favorite dance...move? Music... Well, I'm like your typical gay that loves to work it out to Brit or Lady GaGa... As I have said before, their music is what I call 'Homo Catnip'. Favorite dance move... what the hell kind of question is that? LOL, I just go out and keep the rhythm and have fun. When you're a gogo boy/dancer, you're essentially the cheer squad for the bar or night club... you have to be the most sociable and be the energy... I love that aspect of doing appearances and getting to meet people and especially fans!

8. What's the most annoying thing a fan has asked of you? Not just fans, but others as well seem to always ask this one question that I truly HATE! "Do you workout?" I'm like ummm no I have an allergic reaction to fabric softener... I mean REALLY?! There is a comedian named Bill Engvall that does a portion of his routine to answering the stupid, why even ask type of questions called 'Here's your sign..." I allude my situation much like to this one portion of his routine where he talks about locking his keys in his car. He's sitting there with a coat hanger in his door when someone walks up and asks, "Did ya lock your keys in your car?" He replies, "Nope, I just washed it and was about to hang it up to dry."

9. What are your comftarable clothes you wear around the house? Sweat pants and a hooded sweatshirt.

10. Tell us something only your close friends and family know about you? Why, you're not a close friend or family member, ;-)

11. Out of all of the gay stereotypes, which one is the only one you fully fulfill? NONE, My friends call me a lesbian sometimes because I am your typical jock that can change the oil in his car, remodel a house, and watch ESPN/Sports on TV... I am a guy, a man... I really don't like malls or shopping, I'm simple. That's is why Dawson and I are such a good couple and we love each other so much because we are guys that do guy things... yes, we are gay, but that is it. Being gay doesn't define us as members of society, it is just who we are. I think its sad that the mainstream society makes us all out to be like Jack from 'Will and Grace' or Carson Cressley (Queer Eye). Everyone has their own personality and their own traits that they live by and that is great. The main misconception amongst so many that being gay means that we are all these over the top, drama causing bitches, we aren't all that way. Some are, and I have many great friends that 'society' would call queeny... whatever... not everyone in the US talks or walks the same way, being an individual is what truly defines anyone. Discovering who we are and being that member of society that always seeks to learn something new and never settling for the norm, is what makes us human beings.

12. Boxers, briefs or jockstraps? I'm a boxer brief kind of guy... Sometimes jock straps are fun to dance in but normally I'm a boxer brief guy.
