Since Phil mentioned Me'Shell NdegeOcello earlier this week, I wanted to highlight her in the last QMF before the election. Here's "If that's your boyfriend":

Here's "Leviticus: Faggot":

And here's a live performance of "Faithful." (One of the best things I love finding when surfing YouTube is a professionally-recorded live performance of a musician who can perform.)

And here's Me'Shell on promiscuity among gays and lesbians:

I think that promiscuity in the gay and lesbian community is because we're made to feel ashamed of who you are. No one should be able to judge you in that way

Oh, YEAH! I love this! I'm a serious fan. Years ago, she was behind me in line at the Loew's hardware store in Burbank. I couldn't believe it.
Well, her son was in the line first, about ten years old at the time.
Beautiful boy...was flirting with me!
When she arrived, she asked me if he was making trouble.

I said, only if he was over 21 and she would do well to keep a sharp eye on him.
As an artist, all I could think about was what a gorgeous mother/son portrait I could make with those two.

Yep, she's all kinda talent. Wonder if her son inherited it. THAT would be really cool.

OmG I love her. My allllll time favorite song is "Beautiful". When someone can make the line... "Such pretty hair" sound that smexxxy it's a done freaking deal.

Hello and good freaking night. Cellphone is off.
