As an aside: I saw that Madonna and Child is this year's Christmas stamp. I was sorely disappointed when I clicked through to see it.

You don't say why you're unhappy about the Madonna and Child artwork being on the stamp, but I suppose it ties in with government sponsorship of religion, etc. While I'm generaly sympathetic to that argument, I have to admit that it sounds a bit odd to refer to "this year's Christmas stamp" but object to something not a little related to the "Christ" part. Now if you would have said "Holiday stamp".........

But otherwise, Happy Thanksgiving!

Don, click the Madonna and Child link and you'll see why I was disappointed when I saw the stamp. It wasn't what I was expecting. ;)

OK, OK, so I clicked on "sorely disappointed" first and saw Madonna and Child. Well, I guess I mean the Other Maddonna and Child. Or was it Madonna and the Other Child? I get so confused at this new-fangled hyperlink stuff. (:

Bil, there is no reason to be disappointed anymore. Although I have never used this service, you can create custom US postal stamps, using photos from your PC. So if you want the real Madonna and child on your Christmas stamps, you can have them.
