Back when I was obsessing over boy bands in the late 1990s and early 2000s,
I somehow missed the power and the magic of b4-4, a Canadian trio who holds the distinction of producing perhaps the single most disturbing music video of the era.
A black kid strolls through a rundown neighborhood; passes a depressing homeless man; finds a View-Master in a trash can; looks into the toy to see and hear creepily tanned boy band members serenading him about how "I will be the one to love and comfort you from now until the day you die"; gets transported into the View-Master and frolics on the beach and on a basketball court; eventually transforms into a pimp; and then gives the View-Master to the homeless man. Yup, this is your WTF for the week, especially the cringe-worthy chorus:

That's so trashy. So much auto-tune, and then they hit the autotuned trucker's gear shift. So trashy.
But that's my generation's highest cultural achievement, isn't it?
Creepy and disturbing. And...are they all brothers? Or was that just a boy band thing, so they all had to look alike? And on steroids? Those muscles look like overblown balloons.
I think these guys are actually robots. I mean, they hardly look real!
