"Now, here's what's next. NAMBLA members, same-sex marriages. Are chaplains in the US military going to be required to perform those kinds of rituals? Do they [pedophiles and homosexuals] get government housing?"

--Oliver North on Fox News discussing DADT repeal. Why is Oliver North on TV as a military expert?

He's there as a "military expert" because he's about all Fox can get that will agree with its position. I'm sure several heads at FNN were exploding when some of the high-up brass said, "Yeah, time to get rid of it."

Of course, bear in mind that they're saying that now because we're involved in three-to-four wars at the moment, and they need as much cannon fodder as they can get.

Oliver North has reason to worry --- when he was doing his testimonies before Congress, many of the gay Republicans I knew thought he was the hottest hing in a uniform and wanted to ... well, you know.

If the best they can come up with is bizarre scenarios about NAMBLA (clearly, second only to HRC in its ability to speak for the LGBT community at large), their case against DADT repeal is pretty weak.

Olli is an Asshole! greetings from switzerland

This is that Marine Colonel who violated numerous American laws, the Constitution the UCMJ and multiple international laws?

Nice.

Man commits treason and gets a talk show.
He ought to have been court martialled.
And if the Americans didn't routinely ignore international law, he'd be in a cell at The Hague...
