Here's the much bally-hooed Focus on the Family/Tim Tebow Super Bowl ad. I don't really see how it's supposed to oppose choice, unless one assumes that pro-choice advocates just want to kill all babies. She doesn't even mention the word "abortion."

If anything, someone who didn't know about the controversy surrounding this ad would probably just think Tebow is gay and his mom's really supportive. Love you too, Mom!

I agree. Frankly, I thought the ad was weirdly Oedipal if it was anything..young man tackles sort-of-hot middle-aged mom to the ground...

You missed the point and ironically proved it at the same time.

Is the issue that they weren't blatantly anti-choice, or is that they were allowed by CBS a platform to promote themselves while funneling people to their website which is blatantly anti-gay and anti-choice?

Remember next time when Focus on Family is cited as pouring tons of money into ad and political campaigns such as Prop 8 and you wonder out-loud where they get the justification to speak for others.
