When 4.jpgI covered the red carpet at the 2010 GLAAD Media Awards, I got to chat with Sigourney Weaver, whose career has spanned three decades of tremendous work and most recently was honored with a GLAAD award for her work in Prayers for Bobby. I was incredibly nervous before meeting her, but she was so open, giving, and gracious.

When I was in 6th grade, a group of boys asked me who I thought the sexiest woman in Hollywood was. The weekend earlier I saw Weaver's film Heartbreakers, and I told them Sigourney Weaver. They laughed at me, but I'm sticking to that statement. She's a knockout in every way.

Check out the video after the jump...

My brother has had a crush on Sigourney Weaver since Alien. It's odd because she's totally not his type. I'm not sure if he made me watch the movie because he's aware of my passion for sci-fi or because of his passion for Ms. Weaver. Either way, I've been a fan ever since. She's still stunning and always classy. Thanks for that.

Classy lady from a privileged old money American WASP background. Proud of her.

When I was 17 I saw Alien in the theater and I was smitten By Sigourney Weaver.

A six foot tall heavily armed Woman!
HOT!HOT!HOT!

And she's a great actor to boot.

A class act all the way. Unafraid, unapologetic, unforgettable.... Go, Sigourney!!
