Maryland Dems don't want to defend AG opinion

It'll be a campaign issue, I think. And for Blue Dog Democrats, it could be tough."

In any case, there's a full legislative hearing schedule slated this week in Annapolis, including the proposed constitutional ban against same-sex marriage. It's the traditional lineup: Equality Maryland, advocates and Democratic congress on one side and Republican social conservatives, backed by NOM on the other. Stay tuned. The mud will be a slingin' freely.
