NSFW: Representing Trans Women in Queer/Feminist Porn

Last year I wrote about my film Doing it Ourselves: The Trans Women Porn Project as an attempt to represent trans women engaged in sexuality the way they wanted to be represented as opposed to what typically lines the shelves of "tranny porn" and also to encourage trans women's inclusion in more alternative, feminist, and queer porn. It's now finished but wasn't ready in time for the Feminist Porn Awards this year, however, I did manage to win the Emerging Filmmaker Award for my work on this film.
In celebration -- and inspired by the call for more women in the gratuitous shirtless pics and more explicit posts here on Bilerico -- I've decided to share some of the stills from one of the scenes. Totally NSFW, if you go under the jump you have no one to blame but yourself. This may have journalistic merit and be the less explicit images, but it's still images from a porn shoot.
This scene is between Drew Deveaux (on left) and Daisy Loveless (on right). If you want to follow the film, there are screenings being planned for Eugene (this weekend!), Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, Minneapolis/St Paul, Madison, Chicago, and Paris. That is really hot. I am not usually much for porn but I was really excited to find out about feminist porn with trans women. Had thought there was nothing out there except the exploitative crap.

That sounds really cool, but I see on the website that it's "U.S. orders only". Is there plans or some ways to have non-US orders? That would be great :)

For myself I'm just not equipped to deal with the legalities of individual orders of porn across borders. If I talk with someone who has been doing it and can tell me what countries are okay what countries aren't okay, what to expect for postage, etc, etc, then I might end up doing it myself. The plan, however, is to get a distributor that would be able to do that for me -- the website is only my self-distribution outlet that I set up because I don't have a distributor yet.
I can see your site is in French, are you in France or by chance Quebec? Canadian orders can be made through goodforher.com. And I may send a bunch to the possible screening in Paris to be sold in person -- I haven't had a chance to work out details with the person who's offered to do the screening there.
If neither of those work for you, if you've got a local feminist sex shop, ask them to contact me. I'm better set up to make an international wholesale order to a retailer.

Thanks for your answer! I'm in France, and I'll try indeed to get some at the screening in Paris. Do you know the date yet? If it is Parispornfilmfest in june, I know I have some friends who'll participate, so that would perfect :)
Anyway, I hope your movie gets wide distribution and helps having some trans women visibility in feminist and lesbian porn.

The screening I had in mind was from a friend who offered to coordinate one. I didn't know about the parispornfilmfest until you mentioned it, but incidentally they emailed to ask I submit the film. So it will likely be in the festival afterall. However, I don't expect to have copies there -- I am looking into options, though.

I've wanted to add trans women to my porn collection but "shemale" porn just leaves me feeling angry and wanting to bash in heads.
I have been PRAYING for something just like this. Looks hot. Will be ordering.
