Last night Jerame and I were invited guests to Suzanne Westenhoefer's comedy show to benefit Indy Pride. Suzanne had a very important message for queers nationwide that she wanted me to share:
I did a short phone interview with Suzanne before her show for Bilerico-Indiana, but after the benefit we continued the conversation on video. We talked about the recent spate of celebrities coming out of the closet and she dished about Ellen DeGeneres's coming out and how it affected Ellen's livelihood versus her own career as an openly gay comic.
