"I know exactly what it feels like to have both sides hating you bitterly. Some Christians will throw him away. Some gays will crusade against him. If there is any truth to the accusations, this may be his opportunity to find a safe environment where he can process the embarrassing, internal battle that conflicts with his Christian ideals. He may need to work through that with someone who won't judge or tear him apart."
-- Ted Haggard, in an interview with the Advocate about "ex-gay" George Rekers' rentboy scandal.

More of the same crap. All Ted is saying is "George needs to find a good ex-gay counselor to help him supress the feelings that conflict" with his horribly distorted and conveniently homophobic version of Christianity so he can either stop hiring rentboys or do a better job of hiding it. Like Ted did. Disgusting.

Now don't be too hard on Ted. I'd love to go on a date with him. He fascinates me.

As soon as Ted & George own up to themselves and they admit the "Truth" ! Then ,maybe, they might make good dates! Till then, they use sand as a lube and ya know what that makes? A sore sandwich!
