On Wednesday evening, advocates, activists and allies from across the country will come together to strategize on how to end discrimination against lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender immigrants and their families and pass immigration reform legislation this year.

The Immigration Equality Action Fund is hosting a call with Congressional, immigration and family leaders to rally support for passing reform that includes LGBT immigrants and their loved ones.

Bilerico readers are invited to join Immigration Equality at 8pm ET on Wednesday and be part of this urgent call to action. Participants will include Congressman Mike Honda (D-CA), lead sponsor of the LGBT-inclusive Reuniting Families Act; Karen Narasaki, executive director of the Asian American Justice Center; Bishop Minerva Carcano, the United Methodist Church's point-person on immigration reform; and Joriene and Jashley Mercado, whose mother, Shirley Tan, faces separation from her family unless LGBT-inclusive reform is passed.

To join the call, RSVP online at the Immigration Equality Action Fund site, then dial (800) 896-0105 (passcode 6946500#) on Wednesday at 8pm ET.

Tell Congress: Act Now for Family Immigration Reform. Pass an Inclusive Bill in This Congress, This Year.
