I was in Edinburgh and Oban this weekend and I picked up a comic book of a Scottish legacy strip, The Broons, for the ride home. It's about a family of eight Scottish kids, their straight parents, and Granpaw. The strips mostly fit into one of three formulae: 1) Someone tries to improve himself/herself or help others, fails, and is mocked for thinking above his/her station; 2) The clan does something different, each character reacts in accordance to their two-dimensional personality, with some sort of plot/joke in the last panels; and 3) Granpaw brings shame to the family.
I put one after the jump that's a definite #3. All I'll say is if you're going to date a cross-dresser but want to keep your relationship secret, then you'd better come up with a better excuse.

That's a really stupid cartoon.

Nothing in that book was "haha funny." It was more "You know this is supposed to be" funny.
