GetEqual had a protest in San Francisco last week. They stopped traffic in San Francisco to send a message to Nancy Pelosi that ENDA should be passed in the House of Representatives. Personally, I'm doubtful that she lost much sleep over the traffic jam.

San Francisco is Nancy's district and she is up for re-election this year, 2010. If she feels like sleeping through this and not even throwing these demonstrators a bone, THEN FIRE HER. San Fran demonstrators know how to take to the streets--unlike most American cities--when it comes to making the citizenry heard. Let's hope this demo also has a viral component and that, even now, the news of their little traffic interference is reaching her office.
