A Chicago dentist has taken to the airwaves with the first 2012 Presidential campaign ad. While the next election is still a few years away, I guess there's something to be said for getting started early.

Clinton has not responded to the ad.

The person we should have elected in 2008? Ouch.

Yeah, just what the country needs.. another warmongering right of center corporatist stooge who was "misled" into voting for the Iraq war and who belongs to the creepy Christian cult "The Family" and whose husband gave us DADT and DOMA.

Seriously? No. It's bad enough with President Whifflebat in charge right now.

@Gridlock: Don't forget NAFTA/BAFTA (although GHWBush started it, Bill could've stopped it)

Is it safe to say that I think we need a miracle for 2012? This may be it!...

This will never, ever, ever, happen. Ever. So this is a complete waste of money. Good thing there aren't any other uses for a political donation this year. (sarcasm)

Ugh. If Hillary is the Democrat nominee in 2012 I'll vote for the Republican.

Are you kidding? I've seen this movie before back in 1980 when Sen. Teddy Kennedy challenged President Jimmy Carter in 1980, tore the party apart and paved the way for Ronald Reagan's election.

Not no, but Huell no.

Hillary lost in 2008, get over it.

Never give up! We will make Hillary Clinton president in 2008 one day!

A Clintonista comeback seems unlikely, but given the fact that American politics are now driven the permanence of economic failure, mass homelessness and long term, depression levels of unemployment it can't be excluded.

We're in a depression, not a recession and that changes everything. "We are now, I fear, in the early stages of a third depression. It will probably look more like the Long Depression than the much more severe Great Depression. But the cost — to the world economy and, above all, to the millions of lives blighted by the absence of jobs — will nonetheless be immense." Paul Krugman is Professor of Economics and International Affairs at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University, and Centenary Professor at the London School of Economics, He's an op-ed columnist for The New York Times. In 2008, Krugman won the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economics.

Obama is now a net loss for Democrats and that won't change anytime soon. Just as the Teabaggers are likely to split the Republicans, sooner or later Democrats will face the same fate. They deserve to lose.
