Today has been a really hectic day. I'm still settling into the new routine here in DC and I was honored to speak at the Woodhull Freedom Foundation's Sexual Freedom Day celebration event at the National Press Club this afternoon about the role of the internet and social media on sexual freedom. It was a fascinating conversation that had the entire room engaged and asking questions. Contributors Ricci Levy and David Castillo were in the room and frequent guest blogger Zack Rosen was also a speaker (Plus a really cute - and presumably sexually free - guy gave me his phone number! Woohoo! I'd say "Don't tell Jerame," but that would seem to negate the entire point of the conference, eh?)
Since I've been on the run all day, I've not had much time to engage Projectors in much conversation so I thought I'd take a moment and let GRITtv host Laura Flanders take the floor with a fascinating conversation she had with Charlene Strong on the DOMA anniversary, the DADT failure in the Senate and more. If you've got a few minutes, you'll find yourself talking back to the computer screen.
The video is after the jump.
